The archive came alive as our DFM trays (dance floor mix) of 35mm slides transformed the Bath House with immersive colour and texture. The Solar250's and slide projections were controlled with Dataton Pax units and, with a very satisfying nod to backward compatibility, used an old ipad as the master controller. It was such a pleasure to be invited by Basket of Light to create 35mm projections for Daylight Savings at Hackney Bath House and to bring these vibes to a new audience.

We installed a series of synchronised slide projectors at Hackney Baths, using the opportunity to project wrap around scenic and textural visuals within the cyclorama of the Old Bath House. The visuals were from the deep archive of 35mm slides and included line drawings of topography, chain link fences, disco dancers, leaf skeletons to name a few. Read more...
