Rainbow Dude has become a Glastonbury icon but the LED screens in its glasses needed to be fixed. It was a fiddly job, retro fixing and testing, soldering and replacing but when the fix was completed and we ran a set of new visuals through them, the sculpture had been given a whole brand new lease of life. We took on the job of mending the LED screens that form part of an iconic sculpture. Rainbow Dude's sunglasses had stopped working and needed some brand new content. The sculpture is a seven meter smiling rainbow character that was created by Paul Insect, commissioned by Emily Eavis in 2019 and designed and built by Creative Giants. He is an icon of Glastonbury Festival and needed a bit of LED expertise from us to bring him back to his former glory. Read more...
