Our Booking Process

Call us on 0208 806 3994 or email info@insightlighting.co.uk once you know what you’d like to hire. We’ll discuss your requirements, ask for a few details, and make sure you get exactly what you need for your project.

Please let us know:
• The quantities of each item
• Whether you require cabling or extensions
• If hiring projectors or screens, we can advise on lens throws, aspect ratios, and compatibility

• Collection date
• Return date
• Your full name
• Your address / company address (if applicable)
• Your position in the company (if applicable)
• Your telephone number (landline and mobile)
• Your email address

We’ll send you a Hire Agreement outlining:
• The equipment hired
• Hire dates
• Total cost (including VAT and deposit)
Please check the agreement carefully and let us know if anything needs amending.

• Equipment is charged on a daily (24-hour period) or weekly (7-day period) basis
• Weekend hires are charged at 1.5 × the daily rate
• All prices listed on our website are exclusive of VAT

• Payment can be made in person on collection or by telephone
• The address and postcode must match the registered cardholder details
• We accept all major credit cards
• If paying by BACS, let us know and we will issue a Pro Forma invoice with payment details

• A deposit is required for every hire
• Deposits are taken at the same time as the hire fee
• Deposits are refunded once the equipment has been checked back in
If anything is missing or damaged, we will notify you as soon as possible after return and give you the opportunity to resolve the issue.
Please ensure all equipment is returned in the original labelled boxes to make the check-in process quick and easy.

If you haven’t hired from us before, please bring:
• Valid photo ID (passport or driving licence)
• Proof of address (must match the address your payment card is registered to)
If you have hired before but have changed any of your details please let us know.

An off-hire VAT receipt will be sent to you once all transactions have been completed.
