We worked closely with the artist to design, prototype, supply and install a dynamic lighting system for the Whitechapel Art Gallery. The aim was to make a fully immersive CMYK lighting environment so that the artworks that she had selected from the V-A-C collection could be seen with a new perspective. We needed the lighting to fade seamlessly from one colour to the next as well as automatically turning itself on and off each day. We achieved this with 80m of LED tape, Artistic License drivers and dmx recorders. We programmed thousands of steps, and achieved a beautiful installation!
