Underpass lighting and sound installation, Chingford

What was once a dimly lit and foreboding underpass has been transformed through lighting and sound into a magical journey. We used a pallette of sunset and sunrise colours, programmed on long slow fades, along with birdsong which plays out through hidden speakers in our bespoke enclosures. The piece was commissioned by Making Places for Waltham Forest Council in early 2020 and will be in place for the next five years. Dusk at Larkshall underpass is rather magical these days...
