Towpath

Last year we were approached for ideas for an alternative fireworks event on the Regents Canal. The idea was to celebrate the change of seasons without explosions. Initially the site lent itself to projections as many of the buildings were wrapped due to redevelopment. We performed a live Liquid Light show which was projected onto the wrapping across the canal. The set was accompanied by Reuben Sutherland who played abstract guitar and theremin from the opposite bank. This year we installed a temporary outdoor screen from the opposite building and brought musician Ansuman Biswas along the canal in a small boat where he joined Reuben Sutherland in a dreamy and atmospheric collaboration.
